It was wonderful. Marvelous house and great view of the mountains. The only thing that worried us was the road, but we made it, even without a 4 wheel drive.

Lovely place and exciting drive in to this last cabin on the road. My Labrador made herself right at home with the lovely amenities and accommodations provided.

The upgrades that have happened to this cabin are absolutely stunning. We had such a wonderful surprise with stone steps going into the river and the view has been opened up so much. The office said this is a new owner and more upgrades are coming!!! We have already booked our next stay!

We just returned from Cherokee Shoals. What a wonderful experience. The environment was so relaxing. The dogs enjoyed watching the deer and squirrels. The sound of the water kept us all relaxed. The cabin was super cozy and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely plan another trip!

Cabin has been exceptionally well maintained for the area it is in. Very clean and provided everything we needed! Slept very late there which is not the norm when at home! Decks were clean and provided multiple different areas to sit and enjoy the creek from! Would definitely consider staying there again!

We were just there for five nights. It is one of the nicest properties we have been fortunate enough to share from Sliding Rock. We are hoping to get back next fall, same time. The back yard is dog heaven and ain’t bad for family to hang out. Great grill and very clean hot tub. The kitchen is everything you want and need. Linens clean and beds well made. We did find poop in the back yard from previous visits. All good, you’re gonna miss once in a while

This cabin was great for our family and dogs. It was obviously dog friendly from the dog treats, water bowls, towels, and the spacious backyard. Very nice and enjoyed our stay!

Very awesome cabin and very comfortable

We have stayed in multiple cabins through Sliding Rock rentals. The cabin River Solace was very clean, warm and welcoming. It was so nice to be able to fish off the porch in the mornings and enjoy peace and quiet.

My mother turned 95 this September so to celebrate we came to River Rock. The cabin is the best location on the river and the best decorated. We loved it so much. Mom loved rocking on the deck and watching the river run and listen to Frank Santara. Our 4 yellow labs had the best time swimming in the river and playing on the deck. We will definitely be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay at SONG OF THE SOUTH. Cabin was clean, I love that it's pet friendly! Nice, small fenced in area for pups. The cabin is on a gravel dead end road, very private. Nice screened in porch overlooking the creek. Beds were comfortable.

Extremely relaxing. Sitting on the porch listening to the breeze through the trees, the water rushing by below. Enjoyed Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

Beautiful cabin and views. We especially enjoyed the patio and deck and our dog enjoyed the freedom to roam the enclosed areas. The floors were squeaky but I imagine all cabins have that issue. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was comfortable. We will be back in the spring!

Very easy to get to. We have tried a lot of the Cabins for Sliding Rock and have loved each of our experiences. This is by far our favorite now. Alot of Hiking option nearby which is what we love to do when we visit. We visit 1-2 times a year.

I've been back to this area a dozen times. It just amazing.I stay at a different cabin each time. Each cabin has been amazing. Always clean, great location, peaceful, and full of activities for everybody. When they say pet friendly they mean it. My GSP loves these cabins.These cabins have everything you need. All you need is your clothes and food.Sliding Rock truly strives to make your vacation amazing.

The cabin location is spectacular. Listening to the "babbling" brook is so serene. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is best as the long drive in has some steep grades, hairpin turns and deep ruts.

It was very peaceful and relaxing.

My daughter and I went for five days to just have a mother-daughter trip in a reconnect. The cabin was wonderful, clean, accommodated her dogs, and I cannot say enough about the look and feel of the cabin and the grounds. It was the most positive experience.

This cabin has it all! The pictures and description do not do it justice. We loved the peaceful location and enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the river. The cabin was well stocked and spotless. Our 2 pups loved having their own fenced in area. We will be back!

I had the most wonderful stay at the Song of the south. The cabin had all the amenities needed for comfort. It was quiet which is what I needed. It was secluded, beautiful area. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

We came in the cabin it was clean beautiful so many nice complimentary items to use like hair dryer washing machine condiments we brought a small dog and they had sheets to cover the bed did dig could sleep with us and for couch he dies not shed but it was great toys fur your pets to one with the hot tub was clean and fantastic great place to stay the cabin is beautiful

River Dance cabin was a great retreat for our exploration of Ellijay and Blue Ridge with three fur babies! The cabin was clean and the deck was a wonderful spot for relaxing and watching the water flow across the rocks. The dogs loved chasing their ball in the fenced yard. The only negative was the steep driveway which could be difficult to back out, and some of the foliage in the back yard blocked the water view. Otherwise, River Dance cabin was a good choice for our getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very clean. Beautiful views and a cozy space. We brought our 4 dogs (3 tiny and 1 big) and the dogs had a great time, too. Please know that the dog run is very small in size -- just big enough to do their business, which is what matters, but it was very small (and very secure, too). Thank you to the owner of this cabin for allowing our dogs to join us during our vacation. We so much appreciate it!

Great place to stay . Always enjoy staying at Double Tap. The furry kids love the water in the creek. The cabin is secluded and quiet but yet close enough to get back to Ellijay, Blue Ridge.and Blairsville. Great area and great weather. We will be back to the area.

What a wonderful cabin and location. We had planned to venture out a few times but once we parked our vehicle, we did not start it again until the morning that we left (1 week later) Fished, played in the creek with Bosco our dog, sat on the porch or at the fire pit and enjoyed the peaceful sound of the creek rushing by. Even though it was early September we had the doors and windows open to the screened porch and it was quite comfortable. We have stayed with Sliding Rock cabins at probably 9 different locations. Trout Haven is now our favorite and we can't wait till the next trip.

We love staying at Double Tap Creek. This was birthday weekend and great time to be in the North Georgia Mountains. There is alit going on in the area with fall around the corner. The furry kids love the creek water and the serenity of being at double tap. We will be back to stay at any of sliding rocks cabins available. They always take care of the guests.

We have stayed at this property about 7 times now. It is just a perfect getaway for the 2 of us. It feels like home. We look forward to coming back every time we leave. We go for small hikes, sun in the river for about 3 hours each day, grill on the firepit and watch for shooting stars from the hot tub. The cabin is always very clean and it was recently updated. We will be back!

Perfect cabin for rest and relaxation

Everything in the description was spot on. The house was wonderful. Being on the river was amazing. We took our dog and she had the best time ( who knew she would love playing in the river so much). Sitting by the fire with a glass of wine was so relaxing. It was the best anniversary (40th). We would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was a good size for us and our 3 dogs. It was clean and really had all we needed for our stay. I really loved the fact that our dogs could sit outside with us by the creek. There is plenty of outdoor space to play ball with the dogs and just let them enjoy a walk in the creek.I was concerned when I saw people had commented there was a road on the other side of the creek but really didn't see many cars go by and it did not interfere with our enjoyment of the atmosphere. We did hike the Benton Mackaye trail that is right near the cabin and one other that was only 12 minutes away. Our dogs have good recall so we didn't use the fenced area much but it is sufficient if you need it. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. All and all had a great time and grateful for being able to rent this cabin with our dogs.

This was exactly what we wanted. Quiet, clean, no distractions. Kind of hard to find but that's what you want in a secluded cabin in the woods. Fortunately the directions provided were excellent.

The only improvement I could make would be to screen in the hot-tub. We didn't have time to use it, but if it was screened it might have tempted us more.

Great for a couple, or two couples that are very close.

The cabin is in a beautiful location right beside a large creek. In the yard area just off the screened porch, we were visited morning, noon, and night by anywhere from 2 to 7 deer feeding in this "field". We enjoyed having meals and drinking morning coffee sitting on the porch watching these deer. The cabin is a little smaller than expected. Downstairs is 2 bed 1 bath, but for us on a 2 person four day weekend getaway it was fine. It is very pet friendly. The deck has gates to close it off and keep the doggies close by. We could open the screened doors and they could circle around and be able to go into the enclosed fenced area as well. All in all we were very satisfied. Be aware, the road leading to the cabin is bumpy and narrow in most sections.

Me, my fiance and our dogs came to this cabin for our anniversary. It is a beautiful cozy cabin with a beautiful creek in the back yard. We enjoyed ourselves and all of the amenities which worked and didn’t have any issue. Definitely will stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creekside Manor! The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed all of the different cozy spaces to relax and read and listen to the creek - from the 2 different couch areas to the sunroom, back deck, and fire pit area. All lovely! We are particularly appreciative of the pet friendly touches that made us feel our dogs were welcome and not merely "allowed" to stay there with us. It was a wonderful, peaceful long weekend of hiking and relaxing - thank you!

This was a wonderful experience for us. We are always looking for a place that has everything you need in one spot. This cabin checks all the boxes. It looks like everything was thought of. We brought our three dogs, two medium size & one small. This was one of the most dog friendly places I have experienced. Make sure you read all of the instructions they send you prior to your trip. We planned for everything but so did Sliding Rock Cabins. This company was excellent! During our trip they stayed in communication with us and were available to answer any questions we had via text message. I would highly recommend this company if you want a great cabin experience and you enjoy the mountains. I couldn’t think of anything that would have made this trip better.

To start with, my wife said it was love at first sight. The rustic cabin was perfectly located 30 minutes away from it all, on a small babbling brook (as described online). And it was, I had trouble setting on the back porch swing trying to stay awake. It really was the perfect week getaway, on two different days we never even left the cabin. I will say though, that a 4-wheel drive pickup was nice to have getting there.
Now I need to check and see if returning guests can get returning discount.

We stayed during Labor day weekend and are already planning our return trip. The cabin was clean and comfortable. So many thoughtful touches such as dog toys and treats were really appreciated.

This is a great cabin with excellent amenities. We really appreciated the high quality linens, pillows, and towels. Everything was clean, and it was close to everything we needed. Out dogs loved having access to the fenced porch and yard. Highly recommend.

Great cabin, our friends talked about how usually they cant wait to get home from vacation, but they didn't want this one to end. From the wildlife, to the fire pit we had a blast.

Last minute booking went seamless, and our expectations were exceeded! Everything was super clean, cozy, and comfortable. The sound of the river was so relaxing, we spent so much time on the porch and by the river. Our dogs were in heaven!! The hot tub was amazing,everything was just perfect. The ONLY drawback was the long staircase from the house to the river, but overall it was worth it- definitely recommend!!
