We love this place. It’s the space we needed and we had a beautiful weekend.

Enjoyed my stay. Nice and quiet location.

The house was very nice and clean. Roomy for 6 guests. The road to cabin is a bit treacherous but worth it. The outdoor tv and grill area was a hit with the older kids, it was a bit cold for us older folks. All in all it was a great place and the water right out of the sink is delicious. I posted pics on facebook and people are wanting the rental info.

I was genuinely blown away at my stay with Sliding Rocks! The cabin was extremely clean! This was such a huge plus. As a cabin that allows dogs, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was on check it. The dog friendly supplies were the cherry on top of our stay and made it so easy to travel with 2 dogs. The cabin was so secluded from the world and we had the best time! Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. So much thought was put into making us and our fur babies comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed. The view and sound of the creek was our favorite. We loved seeing the deer each day too. We definitely plan on returning.

We've stayed in many Sliding Rock cabins over 15 years, and this was our first time at this one. The location is lovely, and we appreciate a wood-burning fireplace. Another positive on our list.

It was a beautiful getaway. Everything was perfect. Coming from Florida, we were only used to flat terrain. This was really new for me, but as the direction stated in their welcome book, slow and steady is the key! Everyone on the mountain is very respectful. The restaurants and excursions we did were also amazing and there is so much to do in the area! Thank you for extending your beautiful cabin to my husband and I for my birthday celebration as well as for Thanksgiving.

I loved how private the cabin was but was very glad for the description of the roads leading to it so we were prepared for it.

We loved everything about this Cabin. We have rented 2 others and they were great too, but we liked being on one floor. It was better for our older dog. The daily visit from the deer was a nice addition. One morning we had as many as 15 at one time. The home was immaculate and fully stocked with everything you may need in kitchen and bathroom. The fry pan was scratched, so we bought another one and left in draw for the next renter. The River Resort was great for walking and taking the dogs for walks daily. They made friends with the dogs down the way too. There is a dog park at Fish Trap Park near the Riverside pool. The cabin was close to all stores and you can take the back road to downtown Ellijay which is very convenient. We will definitely be renting again in the near future.

Cozy, comfortable quiet place! Clean and nicely appointed. Separate fenced in yard was great for the pups! Hot tub area was nice!

absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was great, very comfortable, clean and the view was to die for. We even was treated to a day of snow flurries which made the whole trip.

We have stayed at this beautiful cabin 3 times and as usual enjoyed it very much. Close to our favorite places, Mecier orchards, Roo vineyards and Ellijay. We will be back.

Wonderful location. Lots of outside room. Just wish the fenced area for the dogs was a grassy area and not granite rocks. My pups had a rough time adjusting to potty time there.

If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is it. If you are looking for things to do, then this is not the place for you. Cabin was perfect little getaway to relieve some stresses of today’s world. Highly recommend The Last Catch restaurant in Jasper, just a few miles away. Great fresh seafood! Happened to be there during a festival which was amazing. Overall I’d highly recommend this as a great place to escape to.

We had a great time in a beautiful home. We got to watch deer walking in the yard and the children saw snow for the first time. We will definitely come back.

Our pups recognized the cabin as we drove the winding road to get there. Great stay! Relaxing and cozy! We experienced 76 degrees, leaves changing color, 21 degrees and snowfall all in One week! Amazing timing!

From booking our Cherokee Shoals Sliding Rock mountain vacation to check-out time, customer service and providing us with any necessary information was fantastic! We were given very specific driving directions which was extremely helpful due to arriving after dark. As we entered our cozy cabin, already lit up with welcoming Christmas lights, we immediately felt at home! Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of paradise where we could relax with our family dog, too! Upon daylight the first morning, it was evident that we were truly in paradise... the gorgeous setting on a flowing stream, we caught our first glimpse of the many deer that visited us everyday! We will be back soon!!!

Loved it great place to stay nice and cozy ,the road is a little bad in some places ,I have an SUV we had no problems , I have been staying with sliding rock for years . We love it . See ya next year . Ps. Love the beds

We had the most relaxing time at Fauna Lodge6.Enjoyed the wildlife each day. The daily walks along the roads. A roaring fire nightly was so wonderful. The cabin was just great for 3 people and 3 dogs.
Added bonus, a fenced in dog park.
None of us wanted to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at River Rock. I especially loved how there was the yard and deck over the water all gated in. The dogs had a ball. The cabin was very nice too.

We had the best relaxing week! We loved waking up to the beautiful sunrise Mountain View from the upstairs bedroom, enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub almost daily, loved venturing out hiking and having our pups with us too it all off. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Bear Cabin exceeded our expectations! It was perfect in every way.

We have stayed in Song of the South two years in a row. We love it. Fits out needs perfectly. Favorite part is the firepit area with the babbling sound that is so peaceful and private. Love the hot tub area. The cabin has all we needed and nice a clean. This year we went to Dahlonega and loved it. We rode the train last year and did the rail bikes this year.

This place was absolutely perfect from when I booked it until I left. The bedding, dishes, everything was very well thought out. The small pet relief area was great also. I would highly recommend

Inside of the cabin is just as pictured and gorgeous!!! It's a great cabin if you want easy access in and out or if you just want to curl up inside. It is off the main road so it can be a little noisy from cars during the day. Security does patrol wish is nice. Decent views and a great community. Would return!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our 30th anniversary and included our dogs. The cabin was well equipped for the exception of a microwave. The gas fireplace and fireplace were so easy and convenient to use. We loved the seclusion. We will be back again.

We stayed in Seclusion for our annual girls trip and the cabin was perfect! Location is our favorite. Other than the driveway being rather bumpy, this cabin was soooo comfy! We used the fireplace all day, the furniture is dreamy comfortable, the beds were very comfortable, and the cabin had everything we needed. We have been renting from Sliding Rock for years and always have a great experience. As always, we were very sad to have to leave.

Laurel Overlook was the perfect cabin long weekend getaway. The leaves were beautiful and the deer stopped by to visit a couple mornings. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Great place on the creek. Everything was great but could use a few more road signs to get there. Also the dirt road was very rough.

The cabin was a wonderfully secluded vacation rental.we appreciated the fully stocked cabin, very clean, and supplies included were thoughtful. A starter of a bundle of firewood was perfect for the first chilly night. The cabin is located to many wineries, apple orchards, a short drive to Dahlonega, and Americola State Park. There was plenty of things to do within a short driving distance. The office stayed in touch and checked on us to make sure everything was going well Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We look forward to staying here again.

It was wonderful. Marvelous house and great view of the mountains. The only thing that worried us was the road, but we made it, even without a 4 wheel drive.

Lovely place and exciting drive in to this last cabin on the road. My Labrador made herself right at home with the lovely amenities and accommodations provided.

The upgrades that have happened to this cabin are absolutely stunning. We had such a wonderful surprise with stone steps going into the river and the view has been opened up so much. The office said this is a new owner and more upgrades are coming!!! We have already booked our next stay!

We just returned from Cherokee Shoals. What a wonderful experience. The environment was so relaxing. The dogs enjoyed watching the deer and squirrels. The sound of the water kept us all relaxed. The cabin was super cozy and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely plan another trip!

Cabin has been exceptionally well maintained for the area it is in. Very clean and provided everything we needed! Slept very late there which is not the norm when at home! Decks were clean and provided multiple different areas to sit and enjoy the creek from! Would definitely consider staying there again!

We were just there for five nights. It is one of the nicest properties we have been fortunate enough to share from Sliding Rock. We are hoping to get back next fall, same time. The back yard is dog heaven and ain’t bad for family to hang out. Great grill and very clean hot tub. The kitchen is everything you want and need. Linens clean and beds well made. We did find poop in the back yard from previous visits. All good, you’re gonna miss once in a while

This cabin was great for our family and dogs. It was obviously dog friendly from the dog treats, water bowls, towels, and the spacious backyard. Very nice and enjoyed our stay!

Very awesome cabin and very comfortable

We have stayed in multiple cabins through Sliding Rock rentals. The cabin River Solace was very clean, warm and welcoming. It was so nice to be able to fish off the porch in the mornings and enjoy peace and quiet.

My mother turned 95 this September so to celebrate we came to River Rock. The cabin is the best location on the river and the best decorated. We loved it so much. Mom loved rocking on the deck and watching the river run and listen to Frank Santara. Our 4 yellow labs had the best time swimming in the river and playing on the deck. We will definitely be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay at SONG OF THE SOUTH. Cabin was clean, I love that it's pet friendly! Nice, small fenced in area for pups. The cabin is on a gravel dead end road, very private. Nice screened in porch overlooking the creek. Beds were comfortable.

Extremely relaxing. Sitting on the porch listening to the breeze through the trees, the water rushing by below. Enjoyed Ellijay and Blue Ridge.
