We stayed at Fauna Lodge to celebrate a birthday and had a very relaxing stay. Everything about the cabin was as advertised and the management company made the check-in / checkout process simple.

The cabin was in a great location right by the river, and listening to the sounds of the flowing water was incredibly peaceful. We had everything we needed in the cabin, and Sliding Rock provided helpful instructions and guides. I would suggest updating the mattress, but overall, our stay was enjoyable.

We would like to check out some of the other cabins bu sliding rock. I loved that the deck had gates all the way around, so our dog couldn't wander off while we were out there. Having a fenced-in yard area for the dog was also a big plus.

The cabin is easily accessible with 2 wheel drive. The views are fantastic and match the pictures. The yard is large and well fenced for the three dogs we brought along. It is well laid out for pet owners. The gas grill was clean and ready to use. For me, I wish the couches sat higher up. It was hard on my knees. The kitchen is small if you are a cook, but you can make it work. Very relaxing and I would stay again.

We love Sliding Rock Cabins and their wonderful pet policy! This is our 2nd stay at this cabin and we will be back. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable but the sounds of the river and river access is amazing! We love the location and the amenities that are available. Will be back soon!

We had such an amazing time here and will absolutely be rebooking in the future. The fenced yard was so convenient for the dogs and the gates were amazing to have. The views were fantastic and so peaceful.

We always love our stay at No Place Like Doe. The minute we step onto the property all of our stress and worries just disappear. There is so much to do without ever leaving the property.

Rivers Reach is a great cabin. It was very clean, not hard to get to, and very peaceful. We will return again, but definitely for a longer stay. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was a nice amenity. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and there actually weren't any neighbors in the cabins next to us.

Sitting on the porch drinking coffee by the creek provided the relaxation and peace we so badly needed. The cabin was beautiful, just the right size for us and our dog, the hot tub a lovely addition. We will definitely return ♥️

We had an amazing stay at Canopy Cabin in Ellijay, GA! The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The open layout made it feel spacious and inviting, perfect for relaxing and spending time together. There are 3 master bedrooms with en-suites. Beds are very comfortable, spacious closets & the bathrooms are exquisite, good shower pressure. Upstairs has a large bathtub. Ample & high quality linens.

The amenities really set this place apart. The gas stove was a great touch, and having two grills (a Weber and a Recteq) was fantastic for cooking outdoors. We grilled steaks & smoked a Boston Butt. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. One of our favorite features was the fenced yard—our huskies loved having the space to run and play safely, which made the trip even more enjoyable for us.
The location is also a big plus: peaceful and private, yet still very convenient to town. I would recommend visiting Mountain Valley Farms & The Amish Store while here. Overall, Canopy Cabin exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, pet-friendly getaway in the North Georgia mountains!

The Coop was spacious and well decorated. The backyard was a PLUS for our dogs. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a gas grill outside. The Shuffleboard and hot tub were just icing on the cake.

It was very cozy for our family. The perfect setting. The only thing I would change are the beds. The beds were pretty firm. Other than that it was a wonderful place and we enjoyed our time immensely.

We had a wonderful trip and loved Song of the South. The hot tub was a great place to unwind after a long hike and babbling of the creek was icing on the cake.

We liked the cabin so much, we stayed an extra night.

This was our 2nd time renting from Sliding Rock Cabins and WE WILL AGAIN! Both rental houses have been great and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. We were snowed in and Julie sent us updates on weather and nightly freezing conditions. It is a beautiful area and the houses are great and I am so thankful my 4 legged pups get to travel and experience a trip with us. THANK YOU!!

The cabin was every bit as nice as the pictures showed and the thoughtfulness around the fur babies was very impressive. The bed was also very comfortable!

As usual with Sliding Rock Cabins our stay at Cozy Bear was excellent! Cabin was clean and well stocked with the necessities we needed. It was very relaxing and the weather was just what we were hoping for. We will definitely be back.

Hands down this was the most relaxing vacation ever. I haven't been anywhere that I can take my dogs and not worry. It had everything we needed with a great price. So happy, we are planning to stay again in August.

This is our favorite cabin! We have stayed at several Sliding Rock cabins and this one so far is our favorite! Right from the start driving up is so welcoming and taken care of and perfectly clean! The cabin has everything and more you could need for a wonderful relaxing stay. Kitchen is fully stocked, deck overlooking the river, large hot tub and the Traeger grill and a gas grill amazing! 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths and one has a soaking tub! The huge fenced in yard with deck access for my fur kids plus the dog bed, bowls and treats! We could not have asked for more! We plan on coming back soon. Thank you Sliding Rock!

We had the best time during our stay at Trout Haven Lodge.(We shed a few tears during checkout) It was truly a little slice of heaven. We didn't leave the cabin for 3 days straight! The property was immaculately clean, and had all the amenities. We spent 90% of our time outside down by the water or on both porches, grilling out and watching football. Downtown Ellijay is only a few miles away and has the cutest little shops and restaurants. Most everywhere was dog friendly which is a huge bonus! This was our second time booking with Sliding Rock Cabins and we can't wait to book another one, maybe in the summer next time!! Thanks Again!

This is the first overnight trip we've been able to take with the "girls" (Sophie, Panda and Ginny) since we moved to the Atlanta area. I don't know who had more fun, us or them. Getting to the cabin was easy, the instructions were spot on. And the cabin was exactly as described. We appreciated all the "extras" that were left out for the girls, making them feel at home as well. At home they are allowed on all the furniture, but we understand how their fur can get anywhere, so we really appreciated the extra covers so they could go anywhere and lay down where they wanted, and we didn't have to be stressed keeping them off of anything. Since it was winter, we didn't hang out all that much on the balcony or the fenced yard with them, but when we come back in warmer weather we will for sure take advantage of the fenced areas. (Yes, of course we're coming back!) Sophie loved the access to the water, she got to run around in the river. Everything was clean, and easy to find and use. Communication was easy, as well as getting the key. We've already recommended it to friends. Seeing as it was a quick weekend getaway at the end of the winter holidays, once we got to the cabin we stayed and enjoyed the quiet and calm. And whatever coffee beans they leave for you... really good coffee!

We love Nativa, it provides everything we look for in a mountain retreat. The view every morning watching the sun comes up is beautiful with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. Love the fenced in area for the doggos so we don't have to worry about them getting into trouble investigating the area. The cabin has every amenity that we needed and we really enjoyed the fireplace. Looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful, spacious cabin. Quiet and peaceful. So wonderful that we can bring our pet! We loved the fenced in back yard. Cute cabin, peaceful and beautiful. Enjoyed the hot tub and morning coffee on the porch! Dogs loved it, loved the extra little fenced area and they enjoyed sunning on the fenced porch. No issues with Google Maps and phone service worked normally. Would stay again!

We had the best time in this little cabin. The creek is everything - sitting in the hot tub listening to it at night was fantastic. The cabin is clean and feels new. Loved it and will be back.

We rented River Dance Cabin from 12/26/25–1/2/26, and it was absolutely wonderful. The cabin is at the end of the road, right on the river, and you can hear the river rushing from the decks—so peaceful and relaxing.

The cabin is very well equipped with everything you need. We especially loved the gated decks and yard, which made it perfect for our 2 Bernedoodles to safely enjoy as much (or as little) free roam as they wanted. The dog-friendly touches were exceptional—dog bowls, muddy-paw towels, treats, and even poop bags were thoughtfully provided.

The road to the cabin was not bad at all, and the directions were precise and easy to follow. The cabin itself is lovely, cozy, and full of special touches. We also really enjoyed the hot tub, especially during the colder days.

The location is ideal—close to many hiking trails and waterfalls. There were quite a few house rules, but we completely understood and didn’t mind at all; we’d want the same if we owned such a beautiful place. Communication was excellent, especially with helpful texts during the freezing temperatures.

The folks at Sliding Rock Cabins have their act together! I was very impressed with the excellent and timely communication. The cabin was clean, very comfortable, and in a delightfully secluded location. Our 2 dogs appreciated the fenced area, the big porch, and the great creek area. Double Tap Creek was the quiet after Christmas get away we needed to unwind and recharge.

We had a very nice stay here. It was what we expected for rest and relaxation. The beds were comfortable. We built a campfire at the firepit and made smores. We built a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with Kerig,coffee pot, crockpot,kitchen scissors and panini maker. The only thing missing was a can opener. There was a nice screened in porch to sit and look down at the river (which has a few rapids just not time of year to be in the water). We saw 4 deer walk right up one morning and one night a buck on the property. There are crows and squirrels also. I would stay here again. ��

We arrived to a clean welcoming cabin. The TV was on a yule fire channel and we were delighted to see how well equipped the kitchen was!
Our stay was filled with many hours of peaceful quiet, meals cooked in your well equipped kitchen and nights by the fire. We also enjoyed the hot tub as an additional stress free way the spend our evenings.
While we didn't go out to any restaurants because we brought our dogs with us, we happily spent time with each other playing Jenga, Scrabble and other games provided. Our Frenchies were thrilled to have a new place to while away the days with us instead of at a daycare! Thank you for your pet policy! It made our decision easy when we read the reviews and description of your cabin.
We even got to enjoy a lunch visit from our friends from Asheville who are now interested in renting the cabin for a future stay for themselves.
We will definitely be booking another stay here in 2026!

For the first time ever to rent a cabin i must say that it was the best experience ever. Such a quick last minute vacation became the BEST ever. Our pups our kids my hubby we all enjoyed and look forward to another one for longer period God willing.

This was one of the nicest VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. The home is beautiful, comfortable and has a very well equipped kitchen. There are many different areas to relax in, each with a view of the lake. The host was always helpful and easy to communicate with.

Cabin was cozy and well suited for our needs! Pups and us, especially my grandson, loved the little creek behind the cabin - it was my grandson's 1st creek experience! The screened in porch was also nice and the drive to the cabin, easy. The screened in area for the dogs is pretty steep and so not a space you'd want to keep them for very long. Good place for keeping them while loading in and out though.

I had an incredible stay at this cabin with my two dogs. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and everything worked perfectly. The kitchen was very well stocked, even an air fryer for the quicker stuff, which made cooking easy. The area was great for my dogs, though I’d recommend keeping a close eye on them if you have any escape artists. There are gaps at the stairs for the fenced in area. The location was easy to find, and the house access was simple and smooth. We loved seeing so much wildlife, especially the deer. I would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I had a great weekend with our greyhound at Highlands Cottage! It was perfect for a weekend of relaxing and watching football with a cozy fire. We loved walking through the neighborhood and seeing some festive lights! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to cook and eat there!

The house was very nice and clean. Roomy for 6 guests. The road to cabin is a bit treacherous but worth it. The outdoor tv and grill area was a hit with the older kids, it was a bit cold for us older folks. All in all it was a great place and the water right out of the sink is delicious. I posted pics on facebook and people are wanting the rental info.

I was genuinely blown away at my stay with Sliding Rocks! The cabin was extremely clean! This was such a huge plus. As a cabin that allows dogs, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was on check it. The dog friendly supplies were the cherry on top of our stay and made it so easy to travel with 2 dogs. The cabin was so secluded from the world and we had the best time! Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. So much thought was put into making us and our fur babies comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed. The view and sound of the creek was our favorite. We loved seeing the deer each day too. We definitely plan on returning.

We've stayed in many Sliding Rock cabins over 15 years, and this was our first time at this one. The location is lovely, and we appreciate a wood-burning fireplace. Another positive on our list.

It was a beautiful getaway. Everything was perfect. Coming from Florida, we were only used to flat terrain. This was really new for me, but as the direction stated in their welcome book, slow and steady is the key! Everyone on the mountain is very respectful. The restaurants and excursions we did were also amazing and there is so much to do in the area! Thank you for extending your beautiful cabin to my husband and I for my birthday celebration as well as for Thanksgiving.

I loved how private the cabin was but was very glad for the description of the roads leading to it so we were prepared for it.
