The best family getaway

ur entire family including our 3 dogs had a blast. We never had to leave the cabin. The dogs swam in the river and we took the tubes out. So much to do at the cabin, shoot pool, play games, hangout in the hot tub, make smores at the firepit by the river.. so much room in the cabin for everyone.. they thought of everything from baby gates,to dog treats, coffee beans, well stocked kitchen with pots pans crockpot.

Lovely trip riverside

What a lovely late spring vacation. The trees and bushes were flowering, the birds were chirping and the river was peacefully rolling. My family enjoyed the cabin’s amenities- nice clean kitchen, big dining area and living room, cozy screened porch/deck. The doggies loved exploring down by the water. I love how Sliding Rock Cabins makes sure the doggies are taken care of- they really are a notch above the rest!

Surpassed Expectations

To be honest, the pictures do not do this place justice. We have stayed at different cabins over the years and would definitely book this one again when we have children along. The views are stunning! The rooms are spacious. Everything was in excellent condition. The kitchen was very well stocked and even had a pantry where we could store items we had brought.

Forever Friday is the perfect place to stay!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Ellijay with a great view, great location and house set up for guests, games, and fun, book Forever Friday! The game rooms downstairs were a huge hit. We had a blast and will certainly come back again soon.

An amazing winter vacation!!

First I have to mention the fact that it snowed!!!! Coming from Florida that was a big deal. We were so happy, especially since there was a winter storm warning and when the power went out it got a little scary (our neighbors even left) Diane gave me all the options and educated me on what was going on. We decided to stay and so thankful we did. The cabin was amazing, there was some dog hair that wasn’t from our dogs but it didn’t bother us, it wasn’t everywhere. Our dogs are outside crazy so we didn’t really take them out in the yard in fear that they would fall in the lake. But nonetheless the yard was beautiful. My dogs enjoyed the front yard and the walks. The scenery was beautiful. Good thing to mention that power came back in less than 4 hours! We had the fire place and grill so we were fine if the winter storm had been worse. Due to the snow we weren’t able to do much since we’re not used to driving in the snow so we couldn’t do a lot of activities but it was just so much fun to walk around and find some places to take pictures. The road was a little rough going up but nothing I wouldn’t do again!! Next time we will explore more and for sure enjoy it even more!! Loved it!
