Frequently Asked Questions

    View our cancellation policy.

  2. What time are check-in and check-out?
    Standard check-in begins at 4:00pm
Standard check-out is no later than 10:00am

  3. Can I request early check-in or late check-out?

No. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. These times allow our housekeeping team to properly prepare each cabin between guests. Entering the cabin early or departing late without authorization may result in an additional charge.

  4. Can I swim in the river?
Guests may enter the river at their own risk. River depth, current, and conditions can change, and not every waterfront cabin has an area suitable for swimming. Children must be closely supervised by an adult at all times. Please contact our office if you have questions about the river access at a particular cabin.

  5. Do you provide firewood?
From October 1 through April 1, one complimentary bundle of firewood is provided at cabins with an indoor wood-burning fireplace. Additional bundles may be purchased for $15 each with advance notice. Larger quantities may be ordered from our provider with at least one week’s notice, subject to availability. Firewood is not provided for outdoor fire pits.

  8. Why should I book directly with Sliding Rock Cabins?

  9. How old do I need to be to rent a cabin?
The person making the reservation must be at least 25 years old and must be present throughout the stay.
  10. Why don’t some cabins allow children?
Each cabin is individually owned, and age requirements are determined by the property owner. Cabins with age restrictions will clearly state them on the property page. Our local reservation team can also help you find a cabin that is appropriate for everyone in your group.
