River Solace is a full log home with end of the road PRIVACY, so close to the ELLIJAY RIVER you can fish right from your deck. As one of Sliding Rock Cabins’ river fronting properties – River Solace offers a lovely deck with covered porch. There is a large private hot tub in the yard, Gas Grill on the deck, riverside firepit and FENCED yard. Main floor has one King-Size Pillow Top Bed, a bath with shower and tub combination. Upstairs, the open loft has another King-Size Pillow Top Bed with Bath. This is a perfect getaway for Four Adults. Adults Only (no guests under age 25), There is a 2 dog limit at this cabin and no cats please. This Sliding Rock Cabin is an ADULT ONLY cabin (no guests under age 25).

River Solace is a short drive to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge.
Access: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.

Standard nightly rates for River Solace, start at $210 per night. Weekly discounts apply for reservations seven (7) nights or longer. Higher rates apply for Peak and Holiday Seasons.

All cabins require a cleaning fee, along with a Non-Refundable Processing Fee, along with Taxes. All rates and seasons are subject to change. Rates include the holiday and surrounding nights.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due thirty-one (31) days prior to arrival date. A refundable Security Deposit is required, along with a copy of a current picture identification, such as Driver’s License, Military, Firefighter, or Law Enforcement ID. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than thirty-one (31) days to arrival date, minus a $59 cancellation fee, plus tax. No refund offered for cancellations made thirty-one (31) days or less from arrival date.

Clean cabin, beautiful view, nice quiet area (there are neighbors but everyone respected the peaceful environment!). Very dog friendly! Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely book here again for another quiet weekend away.
We absolutely loved our stay at River Solace! It was the perfect getaway and within driving distance to many great locations. The location is secluded with only sounds of nature which is so relaxing whether you want to sit by the fire pit , in the hot tub, have breakfast on the deck over the water, or rock your cares away on the front porch. We hope to visit here again and cannot recommend this home enough! Love, love, love this cabin!
I spent 4 nights at the River Solace Cabin. The location could not have been any better than it was. Very private feel. There is a privacy fence separating any neighbors that may be occupying the cabin next door, which is thoughtful.
There is a cabin high above you on the ridge, which folks were there 3 out of the 4 nights I was there. No big issues. The cabin was extremely clean and stocked with supplies for cooking etc. Grilled steak on the weber grill on the deck with a nice bench to sit.
River sounds nearly snoozed me off :). Gas fireplace! Great, along with the firepit near the hot tub and ALL by the river! I will be booking another stay soon.
This cabin is simply amazing. The river runs literally right in front of it! The view from the hot tub is perfect! The host is so thoughtful with all of the small touches. Your dog will feel like the royal guest! We were able to walk on the roads around the cabin and saw an abundance of deer! We had dinner on the patio that literally hangs over the river. If you are looking for a pet friendly get away, this one is absolutely perfect!! They also had a well stocked kitchen!!
The cabin is just as advertised. Small, quaint, and right on the river! Private feeling even though you have neighbors to one side another high above you on the ridge. The fenced dog run is especially convenient and is a nice feature to have in a pet-friendly rental. We arrived to find the cabin clean and well-appointed. Bring firewood 'cause you can't beat hot tubbing next to the river by the light of the firepit! The only disappointment was that we didn't catch a trout but maybe next time.Will definitely look at staying here again!
