Fantastic cabin and setting. Everything was as-advertised and better.

This has got to be the best cabin I have ever stayed at. Super clean, great location, great rental company. I sat outside read and watched deer all day everyday. It was amazing. I go to the mountains 2 to 3 times every fall/winter and look for safe and well taken care of properties. I have never stayed in the same cabin twice, simply because they never impress me to that point of returning. This one will be my go to from now own. No doubt. Thank you for providing a place where you can relax and recharge all in peace. Looking forward to returning.

I take 2 to 3 trips by myself during the fall and winter months. This cabin was the best one I have stayed at. Very clean, great location, privacy, my favorite by far. The rental staff was always available if I had questions. I have to say this will be the one I hope is always available when I get to go for my trips. I watched deer everyday all day. It was my favorite in all my years of coming to the mountains. I am looking forward to coming back in the fall.

Overall, this was a great cabin. It is beautiful and so peaceful. Deer are everywhere and they will let you feed them corn from just 1-2 feet away. Everything was clean, the hot tub, sauna, everything, which isn’t always the case at others we have stayed. This cabin had everything for the dogs and they had the best time! We were able to access the river like we thought we would be able to, the embankment is too high to fish or swim directly behind the cabin. Also, there was a burn ban our entire stay, so were unable to use the fire pit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Holly Hollow! From the tranquil surroundings to experiencing the culinary scene in Ellijay and Blue Ridge, the week was a joy. We also took in the charming city of Talking Rock and explored our former vacation home in Blue Ridge (which has change A LOT in 20 years).

I'll admit, when we were driving up, I was very hesitant. It was definitely more rustic and out of the way than I expected, but being right on the river was a saving grace. The house had everything we needed and we definitely utilized the hot tub and fire pit/place every night. I wish we'd brought our dog, he would have loved it! It's kind of remote so we would eat out for lunch and try to cook or eat leftovers for dinner since there's nothing close to the cabin and we didn't want to drive down the roads in the dark.

From the balcony, the views of the expansive creek can only be described as incredible. Walking down the well crafted path toward the creek, on your way to an expansive fire pit, your eyes bring you views that are hard to describe. Sitting around the fire pit, at waters edge, the sound of the rushing water is mesmerizing. Tired of the rat race, want an escape, this is the place.

A beautiful quiet setting and very accommodating for our dogs. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed this cabin and so did our furry family. The cabin is well appointed, easy to get to and has wonderful views. We enjoyed that you could enjoy the views from both the family room and bedroom on the main level. We didn't get to enjoy the game room because we were so busy soaking in the views.

We really liked having a fenced area for our dogs and they were able to roam around and check out their own special play area.

Lastly, the Sliding Rock staff was excellent to work with. We will definitely be back!

I wanted a Birthday getaway and River’s Reach was perfect for the getaway that I needed.
I was able to stay there with my three dogs and enjoy the beautiful sound of the River.
My dogs enjoyed getting in the water! It rained and the sound of the rain and river gave me an inner peace that I needed and wanted. The cabin is better in person.

As usual we had an amazing time at Lochloosa. It was clean and comfortable. It has all you need and then some. Love our stay every time.

4 adults and 2 big dogs. Plenty of space to stretch out and the trails were great to hike. Not far from anything. House was very nice and comfortable for us all. Rental company very responsive to requests. Folks in the community were very nice.

We had a wonderful week unplugged . The location is great being on the side of the mountain was just wonderful. The river flowing was beautiful. The cabin was very charming and the location was great. We were an hour from everything we could ever imagine. We will definitely be rebooking !!! So many cabins to choose from. We can’t wait !!

We had a great time at Creekside Manor for our anniversary getaway! The cabin is beautiful and well kept, full of everything needed for a relaxing stay in the mountains. The view of the creek and outdoor amenities were second to none! We will certainly be back!

Autumn’s Hollow Cabin in Ellijay, Georgia is a peaceful retreat tucked along a quiet, winding country road, with a soothing creek flowing just below the deck. The cabin itself is spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Its location strikes the perfect balance—just minutes from both downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Ellijay offers a smaller, cozier charm compared to the busier feel of Blue Ridge, and the welcoming, friendly locals make it even better. Best of all, the serenity is uninterrupted, with no constant emergency sirens—just the sound of nature and the calm of the creek. A truly relaxing getaway.

Outside, the riverfront setup is just as impressive. The firepit is literally right by the water, surrounded by a solid concrete and rock patio with chairs that make it easy to relax and enjoy the view. The hot tub is also perfectly placed for both convenience and scenery.

Everything in the cabin worked exactly as it should, which is always a huge plus. We brought our three girls—Bella, Nala, and Molly (2 labs, 1 Golden) and they absolutely loved exploring the property.

The drive in is a bit long and winding, but honestly, that’s part of what makes this place so special—and it is 100% worth it.

We all had a great time during our week stay at Forever Friday. The double fireplaces came in handy as we encountered some freezing temps on 2 days. The property was a very nice surprise as it provided plenty of room for activities for both human and canine alike!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was nice and quiet. The creek in back was awesome creating a relaxing stay. We came here to get away from everything and unwind and it is perfect for that.

We had an amazing stay at the Double Tap Creek Cabin in Ellijay! It was the perfect getaway for me, my mom, and our two dogs. The cabin had all the charming rustic touches you’d hope for, along with a beautiful deck and backyard space that our dogs absolutely loved. The area was so quiet and peaceful, which was the perfect place to get away get away from the hustle and bustle of regular life.

The location was fantastic, with plenty of scenic waterfall hikes all within an hour’s drive or less. We spent our time between Ellijay, Blue Ridge, and Blairsville. After long days of exploring, we especially enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub—it was the perfect way to relax!

One thing to keep in mind is that the path down to the creek and fire pit is quite steep. Because of this, we didn’t use that area as much as we had originally planned. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it may be something to consider for anyone with mobility concerns.

Overall, we truly loved our stay at Double Tap Creek Cabin and would absolutely come back again! Already looking forward to our next trip!

We absolutely adore coming to this cabin. The dogs really enjoyed the large fenced in enclosure. we spent most of our time out by the fireplace and looking at the mountain. The drive isn’t too scary to get to the cabin. my favorite part about this cabin in addition to the location, is how clean it is. That is hard to accomplish being a pet friendly captain, and we definitely appreciate it and it’s one of the things that keeps us coming back we can’t wait to come back again next year.

Beautiful cabin with all the amenities. As described! Comfortable and relaxing. Loved the coffee beans and grinder! Fenced in yard for pups was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is very well appointed and has everything you could possible need. The driveway is a little scary at first, but after going up and down it a couple of times it’s fine. The scenery is amazing, we had a bunch of deer come by to nibble on feed bought for them. The fishing was ok, my son caught one bass (I think) and was happy. We wound up not bringing our pup, but I would rate this 5-star in terms of being dog-friendly. The entire bottom deck is gated and the gated area for bathroom-time is more than sufficient for a dog to do its business. We loved it and would love to return!

We stay in the Blue Ridge area often. This was our second trip of the year. This cabin was a great surprise. We loved the cabin itself. It was perfect. Over the last few years we have stayed in quite a few cabins. Each one once. This one, we will repeat the stay. At least until our cabin gets built 🙂

The place was exactly what I was looking for for my wife’s birthday. Loved the location alongside the river. Hot tub was an added bonus. The cover was very cumbersome and difficult to remove and replace. The flashlight under kitchen sink did not work. Overall the place was in excellent condition and very comfortable. I would recommend this cabin to friends and family.

We stayed at Fauna Lodge to celebrate a birthday and had a very relaxing stay. Everything about the cabin was as advertised and the management company made the check-in / checkout process simple.

The cabin was in a great location right by the river, and listening to the sounds of the flowing water was incredibly peaceful. We had everything we needed in the cabin, and Sliding Rock provided helpful instructions and guides. I would suggest updating the mattress, but overall, our stay was enjoyable.

We would like to check out some of the other cabins bu sliding rock. I loved that the deck had gates all the way around, so our dog couldn't wander off while we were out there. Having a fenced-in yard area for the dog was also a big plus.

The cabin is easily accessible with 2 wheel drive. The views are fantastic and match the pictures. The yard is large and well fenced for the three dogs we brought along. It is well laid out for pet owners. The gas grill was clean and ready to use. For me, I wish the couches sat higher up. It was hard on my knees. The kitchen is small if you are a cook, but you can make it work. Very relaxing and I would stay again.

We love Sliding Rock Cabins and their wonderful pet policy! This is our 2nd stay at this cabin and we will be back. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable but the sounds of the river and river access is amazing! We love the location and the amenities that are available. Will be back soon!

We had such an amazing time here and will absolutely be rebooking in the future. The fenced yard was so convenient for the dogs and the gates were amazing to have. The views were fantastic and so peaceful.

We always love our stay at No Place Like Doe. The minute we step onto the property all of our stress and worries just disappear. There is so much to do without ever leaving the property.

Rivers Reach is a great cabin. It was very clean, not hard to get to, and very peaceful. We will return again, but definitely for a longer stay. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was a nice amenity. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and there actually weren't any neighbors in the cabins next to us.

Sitting on the porch drinking coffee by the creek provided the relaxation and peace we so badly needed. The cabin was beautiful, just the right size for us and our dog, the hot tub a lovely addition. We will definitely return ♥️

We had an amazing stay at Canopy Cabin in Ellijay, GA! The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The open layout made it feel spacious and inviting, perfect for relaxing and spending time together. There are 3 master bedrooms with en-suites. Beds are very comfortable, spacious closets & the bathrooms are exquisite, good shower pressure. Upstairs has a large bathtub. Ample & high quality linens.

The amenities really set this place apart. The gas stove was a great touch, and having two grills (a Weber and a Recteq) was fantastic for cooking outdoors. We grilled steaks & smoked a Boston Butt. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. One of our favorite features was the fenced yard—our huskies loved having the space to run and play safely, which made the trip even more enjoyable for us.
The location is also a big plus: peaceful and private, yet still very convenient to town. I would recommend visiting Mountain Valley Farms & The Amish Store while here. Overall, Canopy Cabin exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, pet-friendly getaway in the North Georgia mountains!

The Coop was spacious and well decorated. The backyard was a PLUS for our dogs. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a gas grill outside. The Shuffleboard and hot tub were just icing on the cake.

It was very cozy for our family. The perfect setting. The only thing I would change are the beds. The beds were pretty firm. Other than that it was a wonderful place and we enjoyed our time immensely.

We had a wonderful trip and loved Song of the South. The hot tub was a great place to unwind after a long hike and babbling of the creek was icing on the cake.

We liked the cabin so much, we stayed an extra night.

This was our 2nd time renting from Sliding Rock Cabins and WE WILL AGAIN! Both rental houses have been great and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. We were snowed in and Julie sent us updates on weather and nightly freezing conditions. It is a beautiful area and the houses are great and I am so thankful my 4 legged pups get to travel and experience a trip with us. THANK YOU!!

The cabin was every bit as nice as the pictures showed and the thoughtfulness around the fur babies was very impressive. The bed was also very comfortable!

As usual with Sliding Rock Cabins our stay at Cozy Bear was excellent! Cabin was clean and well stocked with the necessities we needed. It was very relaxing and the weather was just what we were hoping for. We will definitely be back.

Hands down this was the most relaxing vacation ever. I haven't been anywhere that I can take my dogs and not worry. It had everything we needed with a great price. So happy, we are planning to stay again in August.

This is our favorite cabin! We have stayed at several Sliding Rock cabins and this one so far is our favorite! Right from the start driving up is so welcoming and taken care of and perfectly clean! The cabin has everything and more you could need for a wonderful relaxing stay. Kitchen is fully stocked, deck overlooking the river, large hot tub and the Traeger grill and a gas grill amazing! 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths and one has a soaking tub! The huge fenced in yard with deck access for my fur kids plus the dog bed, bowls and treats! We could not have asked for more! We plan on coming back soon. Thank you Sliding Rock!

We had the best time during our stay at Trout Haven Lodge.(We shed a few tears during checkout) It was truly a little slice of heaven. We didn't leave the cabin for 3 days straight! The property was immaculately clean, and had all the amenities. We spent 90% of our time outside down by the water or on both porches, grilling out and watching football. Downtown Ellijay is only a few miles away and has the cutest little shops and restaurants. Most everywhere was dog friendly which is a huge bonus! This was our second time booking with Sliding Rock Cabins and we can't wait to book another one, maybe in the summer next time!! Thanks Again!

This is the first overnight trip we've been able to take with the "girls" (Sophie, Panda and Ginny) since we moved to the Atlanta area. I don't know who had more fun, us or them. Getting to the cabin was easy, the instructions were spot on. And the cabin was exactly as described. We appreciated all the "extras" that were left out for the girls, making them feel at home as well. At home they are allowed on all the furniture, but we understand how their fur can get anywhere, so we really appreciated the extra covers so they could go anywhere and lay down where they wanted, and we didn't have to be stressed keeping them off of anything. Since it was winter, we didn't hang out all that much on the balcony or the fenced yard with them, but when we come back in warmer weather we will for sure take advantage of the fenced areas. (Yes, of course we're coming back!) Sophie loved the access to the water, she got to run around in the river. Everything was clean, and easy to find and use. Communication was easy, as well as getting the key. We've already recommended it to friends. Seeing as it was a quick weekend getaway at the end of the winter holidays, once we got to the cabin we stayed and enjoyed the quiet and calm. And whatever coffee beans they leave for you... really good coffee!
