Charming in the treetops!

We're regular renters from Sliding Rock Cabins. We've often looked at 13 Crows but hadn't ever stayed before. The cabin is small, but so aesthetically pleasing, especially in decor (limited bear paraphernalia!). It's a little dark, but assorted lights help. New photos really need to be added to the website, though, as there are positive changes in furniture and the approach to the cabin. The screened porch should be highlighted too and a photo of the small fenced area would be useful. Do heed the advice that an AWD vehicle will be best. The last hill is challenging in FWD. We stayed in another property further up the road a few years ago, and my FWD Ford Escape did OK, but it was a V6. Now have a Rav4, 4 cylinder, and it was hairy. Best thing about the cabin -- you are truly nestled in treetops -- magical. We always eat at the Shack, and while we are mourning the change to the Ellijay Coffeehouse, the coffee is still pretty good at the new bookstore. We would stay at 13 Crows again (maybe with a different vehicle).

Great little get-away!

This place was clean!!! You could not tell it was a dog friendly place! Great little pet station, doggie bed, and towels/sheets for your pet. We had a blast playing in the creek, and sitting on the back porch. We'd highly recommend!

Amazing Birthday

My wife and I enjoyed 4 night at this cabin for my birthday. We brought along our Boston terrier and it was perfect for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub morning and evenings! The fenced yard was perfect for our pup. Even though the road was a long gravel road through the woods we had no issue getting to the cabin in the wife's Honda civic...will definitely stay here again...sliding rock cabin is perfect if you have dogs they definitely cater to pets! Already looking at booking my anniversary in one of their cabins.

What a wonderful place in the mountains on a river. The sounds from the river were so relaxing and wading in it was great. We saw various wildlife just hanging out at the lovely house also enjoyed shooting pool on the 2nd floor... the house was described perfectly Sliding Rock Cabins made everything very easy they gave us great directions through the mountains we went stray to the house I would definitely love to visit the area again and would definitely rent from them again

The house was immaculate kudos to the housekeepers

End of Summer Getaway

This is my 5th time staying at a Sliding Rock property and my 2nd time at River's Reach. This is a great cabin for two. My husband and I enjoyed the river, the porch, cooking in the kitchen and sitting by the campfire in the evenings. Blue Ridge is a short drive away for shopping and good restaurants. The cabin is cozy and comfortable and we love staying here. I hope we can return soon.

Ritz Weekend

The cabin was absolutely precious. It had minor issues like the downstairs fan in bathroom made awful sound and we were afraid to turn it on. Also the lighting is very dim throughout cabin. Overall great little place. The drive in to get to the cabin was treacherous. Roads need serious work. The wildlife was majestic. I would stay again and recommend to others

Creek runs thru it rental.

Overall stay was great. Prefer king bed to be on main floor, unable to use due to steps to instructions how to use remotes for tv.Grass needed cutting. Ants in kitchen on countertop.

Relaxing Retreat

Our stay was wonderful. The location is perfect, right in between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The cabin is quiet, tucked away and nestled right on the river. We had a lot of deer who visited throughout the day which was a treat. I could even tell my dog was more relaxed than usual. We can't wait to go back!

Awesome Cabin and Creek!

Trout Haven Lodge was an AMAZING cabin! It had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean! It is one of the pet friendliest places we have ever stayed! We will definitely use Sliding Rock Cabins for our next stay. The creek was icing on the cake!

Peaceful and Refreshing

This cabin was perfect for my daughter and me. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. One upstairs and one downstairs. the upstairs bedroom has a screened porch too. The bacalony at main level runs full length of the cabin. Beautiful cathedral ceiling. Knotted pine ceiling walls and flooring. Kitchen well equipped with the conveniences of home. Loved the fenced front yard. This was great for our 3 dogs , one lab mix and two toy dogs. The road up to the cabin is dicey at night. We came in after sunset and it was a bit scary. Narrow gravel roads indicative of mountain roads, some steep and drop offs on the sides. You go at a slow pace for sure due to the pot holes ang bumps in the gravel roads. Get your groceries BEFORE you go there. You will not want to 'run' to the store for a butter stick or milk. We took two different days for excursions to Blue Ridge and East Ellijay walking trails. Mainly we stayed put and enjoyed the peace, quiet and songs of the night. We had the windows open, it was just right for us even though it got up to the 90's in the lower leveled towns. Hot Tub is a must do at night. The beds were some of the BEST Sleeping beds I have slept on. I travel and sometimes the beds are not so good. But these mattresses were super comfy, but very supportive. We loved our stay. We will come back for sure.Beautiful area!
