Great time!

Had a great time this was our 4th stay with Sliding Rock and we pick a different cabin every time. Have never had a bad experience. Songs of the South is really easy to find and can get there with any type of vehicle. We will be back in the fall.

This is a great little cabin, and it has everything you need from the gas fireplace to the hot tub in the outside fire pit. You can’t go wrong. Location is great 20 minutes away from Blue Ridge or Ellijay

The cabin is lovely and a perfect location on the river. BUT the drive to the cabin is challenging .

We love this cabin and Sliding Rock Cabins! This is our 3rd year and we're already making plans for a 4th. We love how private it is and that we can bring our 4 big dogs. Highly recommend!

We’ve used Sliding Rock many times and always have a great experience with them. It was pur first time staying at River Dance and it did not disappoint. Everything you need is provided and is well maintained. Our pups enjoyed the yard area and all the nice treats left for them. We will continue to return in the future. Again the staff couldn’t be easier to work with.

Relaxing cabin with beautiful furniture and hot tub.

Spent a long weekend to decompress and quiet our minds and River Solace stepped up. The cabin was clean, cozy, and quiet with the just the sounds of the river to sit and enjoy. Easy to access and within driving distance of great hiking and restaurants.

We loved our stay, we are already planning on going back and booking an even larger cabin so our parents can join. Our pups loved going in the river and on walks in the quiet neighborhood. We ate breakfast in the sunroom overlooking the river and built fires. It was amazingly pet friendly and welcoming like no other place. We chose this place for my dogs first trip out of state before she began radiation the week after. We plan to take her back in May, and as many times as we can after that!

The River Rock cabin was absolutely amazing! Perfect little weekend getaway for us and our two dogs.

We had an awesome time and would go back. Great location between Eliijay and Blue Ridge . Close to lots of Winery’s and Orchards. There were fire bans when we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy outdoor fires and wasn’t as close to the water as we was expecting to do fishing from lake sitting area but these were out of Sliding Rock Rental control.

third time to trout haven lodge. we love this cabin ok n the river, and the location. secluded, but not so far away from civilization that it's problematic. we especially appreciate the fenced in dog area... makes it so convenient for our pups. we will definitely return.

I get upset when i book a cabin that looks secluded in all the photos but arrive to find a cabin next door. This is not that. Even in the winter with no leaves on the trees, you cannot see another cabin from the back deck or hot tub. There are other cabins around, you just can't see them unless you look towards the road.

The fenced yard was a good height, and i was not worried about our dog escaping. A deer feeder is located on the other side of the fence, so we had deer visit until the food ran out.

Everything inside and out was as in the website photos. We were very comfortable as a couple and our dog.

The one downside was the wifi kept cutting in and out, so streaming to our devices wasn't working. But, there was cell sevice so we still had internet access.

All in all, a very nice cabin and a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

We loved our time at River Dance! The cabin was spotless when we arrived and everything was there for us to cook and relax by the river. Our 3 dogs loved the cabin and exploring in the back. The only thing we weren’t fans of was that it wasn’t fully fenced in so if you’re not paying attention, it would be very easy for your dog to either go into the river or the neighboring cabin. Other than that, this was the perfect weekend getaway! We’re looking forward to our next stay in the mountains!

Cozy Bear Cabin is a perfectly appointed cabin! We enjoyed our stay and loved seeing deer every day! I will definitely stay in this cabin again.

Beautiful cabin and setting! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Sliding Rock Cabins is a great company to rent from. They are caring and respond quickly to any questions. We really feel pampered and taken care of when we stay at one of their cabins.

A great cabin for a peaceful weekend getaway. Cabin was amazing and very private. Will definitely keep this one on our go-to list. And, as always, Sliding Rock was amazing to work with. We actually had booked another cabin, but due to weather, was questionable for access even with 4WD. They recommended this cabin and we could not have been happier! Sliding Rock has always come through for us and we very much appreciate their incredible customer service.

My wife and I are seniors looking for a quiet, secluded spot to relax in a different environment. This cabin suited our needs perfectly! It was very clean, well stocked with essentials and a open, spacious floorplan. For two to four people, you can't ask for more. Everything worked and our rental agency was very responsive and inquired as to our satisfaction almost immediately after we checked in. We will enjoy returning!

Property was very clean, interior well maintained, and spacious. Loved the loft upstairs with the electric fireplace, mini fridge and king bed! Our little dogs were happy and safe in the fenced area, and enjoyed outings frolicking in the streams.

Lovely cabin with beautiful scenery to enjoy at all times of day/night. The river rushing by was calming and a welcomed soundtrack to our weekend away. It was nice to have the fence area for the dog to run around without worry of getting into things she shouldn't. Definitely will keep this on the short list for the next time we want to get away.

The cabin is well decorated, clean and has a paved parking pad which is really nice to avoid tracking dirt in.
I took my dogs with me so just want to mention that this cabin does not have a fenced in yard. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay and I highly recommend.

This place was awesome we really enjoyed it. It’s quaint but has all the essentials. Just take note that the fenced yard is on a downward angle and if you have dogs with mobility issues this may not be the place for you.

Bear Traxx was a great cabin for a quick weekend get away. It is in a neighborhood and has one neighbor fairly close which is the only reason I gave it 4 of 5 stars on the location. It does feel private even with the neighboring house. Easy to get to, the indoor neighborhood pool was great. Lots of stuff to do at the house and plenty of room for a decent crowd. Kitchen had everything we needed as well. We would rent this one again. Especially thru Sliding Rock Cabins..

What an amazing cabin! This a big cabin with plenty of room. The beds, linens and towel were very high quality. The kitchen is well stocked, smart tv's and a great location. To top it off we could bring the dogs! This was a gated property and one night around 3AM one of the dogs needs to go potty, while outside a police car drove by while on patrol.This one
will stay on our list.

The property description does not do this property justice! The walkways, gates, kitchen accommodations, the pavilion, not to mention 3 different wood burning fire areas are sublime. There are multiple seating areas for privacy, and for meaningful conversation. The property is very clean and well maintained. Also, a generator automatically restored the power when needed two times, and I received a text from the property manager to insure that the generator was working! The fenced area for the pups, and the gates were perfect for pet control! Sliding Rock cabins provided exemplary customer service by notifying us that our original house would not be available to rent due to a road wash out. Providing a substitute house seamlessly made our trip worry free! I would recommend this house, and plan on returning. The house is not too far from town, and we had a nice hike at Tumbling Waters that was a short drive away.

The location right on the river was perfect but the road getting there could use some work. It wasn't too horrible as we only went out once a day and spent the rest of our time in/around the cabin. As this was a vacation meant for us to rest and recharge for the New Year, it was overall fantastic!!

Perfect place to stay the weekend. Enjoyed the wood burning fireplace, river, and Hot Tub. Cabin was very clean and cozy.

I stay at another cabin with this company all the time. This was pretty spur of the moment and I booked the day before I went. The cabin was awesome. The location was fantastic and close to everything. I would definitely come back! (Even though there are only 2 of us and our dogs). The bed was very comfortable. I love this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is very well stocked. There are games and puzzles in the cabinet between the kitchen and the door. We enjoyed putting together a puzzle. The king size bed was super comfy. The property is very private, there are no sight lines to neighboring properties, perfect for a sunset hottub experience.

We had a nice relaxing stay. Cabin was very clean and everything you need was provided. The drive up was a little bumpy but not bad. The only thing I would say that was tough is the parking. Your best bet is to back in because you can’t turn around.

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend at Song of the South. It was perfect, from the babbling creek to the cozy fire and hot tub. The cabin was pet friendly as well, which we appreciate since we have our furkids that travel everywhere with us. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely time at seclusion. Its a quaint and cozy cabin, prefect for a weekend get away.

Great family getaway. Cabin was very clean. Kitchen fully stocked. Favorite was outback, relaxing by the fire pit and the sound of the creek. 20 minutes to get into town was not bad but something my family struggled with.

We have stayed at No Place Like Doe at least 3x, each time with improvements. This time we enjoyed the finished basement with new lounging couch, electric "fireplace" and TV. We also played a couple of Mrs. Pac Man tournaments. We didn't play pool, but the new table looks awesome if you're in to that! Construction just above the cabin made it a little unnerving to go to the hot tub during the daylight hours, but we enjoyed looking at the stars from the hot tub at night. Our experience with Sliding Rock has always been wonderful and we highly recommend them!

Cabin was clean with everything we needed for a nice long weekend stay. We especially loved the hot tub and fire pit location...right beside the water. It was beautiful!

Love this little cabin.. perfect for 2 people and dogs. The creek is a perfect area for dogs to play without danger.
Not a fan of the tiny couch but fireplace and recliner was great to relax with.

Such an amazing serene location. We are absolutely in love with this cabin and location. Sitting on the screen porch, deck or down by the river just relaxing with the sounds of nature, deer roaming close and the river flowing so close to us! This is exactly what we wanted. The cabin is so clean, pet friendly and everything we could need is there...fully stock kitchen. The beautiful wood burning fireplace was such a welcome feature. We will be back to this cabin, hopefully very soon!

We had a wonderful time at Forever Friday. The cabin is beautiful and exactly as advertised. Our dog had the best time seeing snow for the first time.

This cabin was perfect for our whole family including our fur kids. We were thrilled at how clean the cabin was, the access to the water, firepit area is amazing we had a blast making s'mores and memories. The kids and adults enjoyed the game room. The cabins had everything we could have asked for. This is going to be our go to cabin for future visits to Ellijay.

The cabin was so clean and adorable. It was cozy and comfy and had a beautiful view. We also LOVED the yard space for our dogs to use. My only suggestion would be to connect the gate from the porch to the gate for the dog yard so they do not have to be transferred during the cold weather. The washer and dryer were very convenient, the appliances were all modern and worked well. The fireplace was gorgeous. It was just such an overall great weekend.

A snow storm hit & it was impossible to get to the cabin we rental. They bent over backwards for us, got us a different cabin after making sure that it was drivable to get to. Love it! Will stay there again! This is our 6th time using Sliding Rock & we'll be back!

Nice cabin, perfect size for two. Lots of wildlife in the mountains that come out at dusk, cool to watch. Very quiet.

We had a wonderful time at ACAR. The location was very relaxing and our dogs enjoyed their first vacation with us. The road in/out was alittle scarey certainly when you met another vehicle. Once you got to the cottage it was all worth it.

Cozy little getaway! The location on the stream provided such needed relaxation. The cabin decor was perfect. We really loved walking through the front door and being welcomed by a lit Christmas tree and Christmas music playing! The only thing we wish is that the cabin had a dishwasher; but it had everything else and more! Traveling the last mile or so to the cabin was a bit challenging at first, but got easier the more we drove it. Local neighbors were friendly and even decorated trees in the woods! Thank you for setting the stage for a very memorable and peaceful vacation for us!
