Resort Fees and Charges
- Coosawattee River Resort Fees: The resort collects a $59 gate fee and a $20 resort fee. Sliding Rock Cabins will collect both fees and submit them directly to the resort.
- Last-Minute Reservations: If booking within 2 business days of arrival, the resort adds an extra $20 fee.
- Amenity Card: One card is provided per reservation. If lost or not returned to Sliding Rock Cabins, there is a $120 replacement fee.
Resort Rules and Fines
Coosawattee River Resort has a set of rules designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. The following fines will be charged to the guest if violated, either through the security deposit or a credit card charge:
- Reckless Endangerment, Trash, or Littering: $150
- Noise Complaints: $250 or more
- Discharge of Firearms & Unattended Fires: $500
By booking, guests agree to these charges and understand the rules in place.

Cancellation & Deposit Policies
**A 50% deposit is due at booking, with the remaining balance due 31 days before arrival. Cancellations made more than 31 days in advance will receive a refund minus a $65 fee; cancellations within 31 days are non-refundable unless rebooked.

We love Sliding Rock Cabins and their wonderful pet policy! This is our 2nd stay at this cabin and we will be back. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable but the sounds of the river and river access is amazing! We love the location and the amenities that are available. Will be back soon!
Cabin was very clean and comfortable! Loved the location and with it right on the water was breathtaking!
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very clean. Beautiful views and a cozy space. We brought our 4 dogs (3 tiny and 1 big) and the dogs had a great time, too. Please know that the dog run is very small in size -- just big enough to do their business, which is what matters, but it was very small (and very secure, too). Thank you to the owner of this cabin for allowing our dogs to join us during our vacation. We so much appreciate it!
Great cabin, our friends talked about how usually they cant wait to get home from vacation, but they didn't want this one to end. From the wildlife, to the fire pit we had a blast.
We had a lovely time! We stay in different cabins through sliding rock and this has been our favorite. Easy river access and we always love how everything is dog proofed. Absolutely loved our trip- this place had everything we needed. The driveway was super difficult to pull into even with an SUV, and the drive to get to the cabin was rough but those are the only complaints. We will be back!!!
