Riverside Nest is a true Adult couple’s Retreat, (No guests in this cabin under the age of 25). A secluded Georgia mountain cabin perched above the Ellijay River with 101 steps down from the cabin to the small beach area, hammock deck. Topside on the cabin’s huge deck is a covered gazebo with a gas firepit and a hot tub with a cover lift. There is a fenced area for your pup with access to both the front deck and hot tub deck. The cabin offers a large cathedral ceiling king bedroom with a 32 inch TV. The living area has vaulted ceilings and is perfect for cuddling in front of the gas log fireplace or watching your favorite movie on the 55 inch smart TV with YouTube TVās 85+ channel service (includes sports and local) and Netflix, and a DVD player. There is also a Bluetooth speaker for listening to your favorite songs. The Kitchen offers: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and espresso machine with a wall of windows overlooking the Ellijay river and beautiful wooded views while dining. Standard nightly rates for Riverside Nest, start at $205/$245 per night. Weekly discounts apply for reservations seven (7) nights or longer. Higher rates apply for Peak and Holiday Seasons.

A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due thirty-one (31) days prior to arrival date. A refundable Security Deposit is required, along with a copy of a current picture identification, such as Driver’s License, Military, Firefighter, or Law Enforcement ID. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than thirty-one (31) days to arrival date, minus a $59 cancellation fee, plus tax. No refund offered for cancellations made thirty-one (31) days or less from arrival date.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin , the dogs loved it as well. Very relaxing and peaceful
We loved our stay at cozy Riverside Nest! We spent our evenings on the back porch taking in the beautiful view/sounds over the water, enjoying the fire pit, and watching the many birds in the trees surrounding the cabin. Highly recommend! The only note Iād make to future renters traveling with dogs is that the āfenced yardā is a gravel path around the back of the house. There is no fenced grass and no enclosed space for medium/large pups to run/play off leash. We totally appreciated their very welcoming dog policy and extra special touches (treats, waste bags, bowls, bed, etc) - just elaborating on the fenced yard mentioned in the listing so that others traveling with dogs can prepare accordingly. Our dogs did enjoy taking a leashed walk down the stairs to the water! Thanks for a great stay!
Cabin was as-described... no disappointments. Weather could've been more cooperative, but a very nice getaway nonetheless. Access to the cabin could be a challenge if not driving an SUV or truck, but would still recommend this cabin. The only thing I could see lacking is a microwave oven, which would have been nice for re-heating leftovers. A small quibble, but something to note when grocery shopping.
This cabin is beautiful - we loved all the windows and skylights, the stylish yet comfortable furniture (including the bed), and favorite for all of us was the outdoor fencing that allowed our dog to be off leash around the cabin. We really enjoyed the time on the porch with the lovely gazebo / fire pit. It was a little more difficult to reach in terms of the last roads which were narrow, winding and rock/dirt, but very private. We didnāt get in the river, but took the steps down to it, and enjoyed the sound of the water from the cabin our entire stay. Appreciated TV with access to streaming services for movies. Kitchen adequately stocked that we made all meals except one in the cabin. The microwave is hidden in a bookshelf! It was dirty (maybe housekeeping didnāt realize itās location) but that was the only negative of our three night rental. We would definitely return to this cabin in the future.
The cabin was perfect for us and our three little miniature dachshunds. They provide a bed, blanket, dishes and treats! Loved the fire pit and view of the river. The steps to the river are great and what a workout coming back up. Two of mine demanded to be carried, lol! You can't go wrong with this cozy cabin...we will be back!
