Very peaceful. My dogs loved it including barking at the black bear the morning of leaving. Would only suggest that more grading is done to the road.
Highly recommend you have an Awd or a 4-wheel drive vehicle in order to get here or be experience with the roads. We loved the view so being stuck due to the rain wasn't a big deal for us since that's what we come here for the view and being to get away from everyone.
If you are looking for great views. I recommend Nativa. I was looking for a place where I could just relax and reset. I didn't want to feel like I had to do something other than relax. This cabin was PERFECT. I took my coffee and wine out on the deck at just relaxed. I hope to make this a yearly trip for my mental health.
We had a fun stay. The cabin was very nice, super clean, well furnished and comfortable. The bed slept well. Beautiful views. We were not prepared for the conditions of the roads. 90 % of the roads are not paved after you start up the mountains. I think a 4wheel drive is necessary especially on rainy days. We would definitely stay again, just plan to arrive the first time before it gets dark. Its easy to get turned around.
The cabin was pretty much perfect for us and our 2 doggo. We will definitely love to stay here again!
