Heavenly View Lodge offers some of the most breathtaking mountain views in the North Georgia Mountains and a perfect place to sip coffee and watch the sunrise on one of the 3 porches. With 3 stories and a bedroom and bath on each floor, this log home is perfect for the family. Two of the bedrooms are king bedrooms with TV’s and the patio level bedroom has a queen bed. Each floor has its own bathroom. The cabin also offers: Fenced yard-dog friendly, firepit, gas log fireplace, hot tub, large porches, ping pong and foosball. Pack and play and high chair available at cabin.

Helpful Travel Tip
This cabin is accessed by private mountain roads that aren’t county-maintained. For the smoothest arrival, and for preservation of the roadway, the Road Committee recommends 4-Wheel Drive, with All-Wheel Drive as a minimum.

Our third stay in Ellijay/Blue Ridge mountains with Sliding Rock Cabins company. They are very professional and helpful. The view from the Heavenly View Lodge porch is outstanding. The property was clean and well maintained with nice amenities (hot tub, ping-pong, foosball, grill). The kitchen was a bit small for five guests. The fenced dog area is steep. A black bear was seen each day, close to the property. Although 4-wheel drive is a very good recommendation, it is possible, but a bit more challenging with a 2-wheel drive vehicle.
The view was beautiful as was the cabin. A wonderful escape and perfect for our two dogs and family.
This is the place to stay if you have dogs accompanying you. We loved it as much as they did. I am confident we will return.
We come here every year! Thanks for such a wonderful getaway. The view is amazing and we are always awe struck! Morning coffee outside on the deck and evening wine. The stress of the city just disappears here. We even saw a momma bear and 2 cubs. We love Heavenly View!
What an amazing stay.... though way too short. We arrived to the most beautiful views I have ever seen. The drive was great just up a gravel road that really made you feel as if you were away from it all. The owners though of everything and we loved the separation of sleeping areas. Everything was spotless and our dog loved the fenced yard. It was nice to get away from the summer heat at home.
We will definitely return to this cabin.
