Forever Friday is a pet friendly North Georgia riverfront cabin rental located on the Ellijay River near Ellijay, Georgia. Offering end-of-the-road privacy, over 300 feet of river frontage, and more than two acres to explore, this rustic mountain retreat is the perfect place to slow down and reconnect with family and friends.
Surrounded by native hemlocks and tucked behind a gated driveway, Forever Friday comfortably sleeps up to eight guests with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Spend your days floating down the Ellijay River, enjoying friendly competition in the game room, or relaxing with a good book on one of the many porches overlooking the water. In the evenings, gather around the large waterside firepit for s’mores and stories before unwinding in the private hot tub overlooking the river.

**A 50% deposit is due at booking, with the remaining balance due 31 days before arrival. Cancellations made more than 31 days in advance will receive a refund minus a $65 fee; cancellations within 31 days are non-refundable unless rebooked.

We are the Pierce Family. We rented Forever Friday at Sliding Rock mainly for their dog policy and for welcoming large breeds...our four babies. On arrival, we did not expect the perfect cabin for us and the perfect Ellijay river to swim and float in! We found family fun in one perfect place!! Tara was the perfect contact/host. We had so much fun and wished we could have stayed longer. Our longest excursion was under 2 hours away, but we couldn’t wait to get back to just hang out. Thank you Sliding Rock! We will be back soon!
We had a great stay with my 3 grown kids & 3 granddogs! Plenty of room, loved the pool table & games. Water was great - easy access, loved being at the end of the road! They are clearing 2 lots across the river while we were there, so won’t be quite as private, but shouldn’t make much difference on our side. Roads a little rough to get there, but if you go slow & watch for oncoming vehicles. Don’t need 4 wheel drive though. We will be back next year!
We all had a great time during our week stay at Forever Friday. The double fireplaces came in handy as we encountered some freezing temps on 2 days. The property was a very nice surprise as it provided plenty of room for activities for both human and canine alike!
VERY NICE PROPERTY, ONLY THE PICTURES MAKE IT LOOK BIGGER THAN IT IS. BUT VERY CUTE AND COZY. SLIDING ROCKS WAS VERY NICE TO WORK WITH.
I've been back to this area a dozen times. It just amazing.I stay at a different cabin each time. Each cabin has been amazing. Always clean, great location, peaceful, and full of activities for everybody. When they say pet friendly they mean it. My GSP loves these cabins.These cabins have everything you need. All you need is your clothes and food.Sliding Rock truly strives to make your vacation amazing.
