Welcome to IttaBena Lodge, which means “home in the woods” where family and friends meet in Choctaw Indian language. situated right on the waters of Mountaintown Creek, one of North Georgia’s premier trout streams. This cabin is fully of rustic charm and character. Since we are on a protected trout stream, while fishing on our property the house rules for fishing are: Fly fishing, catch and release, barbless hooks and no live bait. To provide additional security to you and our property we have installed an outdoor camera that is directed towards the woodpile by the firepit. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

This fully equipped, authentic log home is located within a gated 45 acre retreat. It is one of only 7 cabins within the boundaries surrounded by nature.

You will find the environment quite enchanting and it is the perfect getaway for a romantic weekend, or a serene gathering place with family and friends.

ccess: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.

-FISHING REGULATIONS: Mountaintown Creek is catch & Release, barbless hook, artificial lure fishing only. 1 pole and line, hand held only. seining bait fish is not allow. Trout fishing license required. Please familiarize yourself with fishing on Mountaintown creek at georgiawildlife.com/fishing/trout

The fully equipped kitchen includes: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, pans, coffee maker, coffee beans, and coffee grinder.

In rural Georgia, power outages are frequent! IttaBena Lodge has a full house generator which provides all the comforts of “home” should the area experience a power outage during your stay.

The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

We encourage you to protect your vacation investment with a travel insurance of your choice.

Please Note: Sliding Rock Cabins requires the following when reserving a cabin:

Standard nightly rates for IttaBena Lodge, start at $225 per night, Weekly discounts apply for reservations seven (7) nights or longer. Higher rates apply for Peak and Holiday Seasons.

A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due thirty-one (31) days prior to arrival date. A refundable Security Deposit is required, along with a copy of a current picture identification, such as Driver’s License, Military, Firefighter, or Law Enforcement ID. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than thirty-one (31) days to arrival date, minus a $59 cancellation fee, plus tax. No refund offered for cancellations made thirty-one (31) days or less from arrival date.
