Here at Sliding Rock Cabins, we’re all about escaping to the country for a relaxing weekend of rejuvenation. With that in mind, we wanted to share some techniques for helping you reduce stress in your busy life.
1. Escape—You’ve heard that saying about “all work and no play,” right? Well, it’s true. From time to time you need to just escape from it all and go some place quiet. Some place like Sliding Rock Cabins!
2. Breathe Deeply—You know how sometimes your chest tightens up and you feel like suddenly you can’t breathe? That’s likely something called “anxiety.” And one of the best things you can do in the moment is to stop and take a few slow, deep breaths.
3. Don’t overdo the caffeine—We’re a country full of caffeine addicts. And that’s not to say there is anything wrong with your morning coffee, because we know that’s one of the best parts of the day. But cut down on the caffeine and you’re likely to see your anxiety levels drop.
