Beautiful! The creek is stunning! This property was such a treat for my father and I to get away and enjoy Father’s Day with my dog. We enjoyed everything from the wineries, hiking, the fire pit, and all that the area has to offer. next time, we will bring our golf clubs! The interior does need some updating and I would probably not bring a low riding car. The driveway was an experience! Other than that we had a perfect time! Thank you so much! I will be back!
This was our fourth visit to Riverhouse Retreat and it never dissapoints. We have yet to find anything to complain about. Expect nothing but peace, and serenity, and great customer service!
We had a great experience staying at River house retreat
We enjoyed our stay at the River house retreat. First the con’s: we were given a code to secure the key which was fine, however we were not told that the property had 2 lockboxes. Took us 15-20 minutes to access and only because we called and they told us about the other lockbox. Please minimize the amount of lockboxes for future guests or tell them which lock box to use. 2nd con- large amount of water and mud mysteriously appearing near the front door, I even swept the dirt and mud once to have the water appear once again. Now for the pros- cabin was very clean and super hospitable. We brought our small dog and she loved being a mountain dog. Location is amazing and printed directions were great, got us right there.Being on the creek and having the water right there was soothing and super relaxing, loved the front porch. Overall a great experience other than the minor issues stated above.
We loved it here so much. The cabin is located in a secluded, quiet, and peaceful location. The river is really close to it. This place was perfect for my two senior dogs (one with limited mobility and one who had a leg amputation in February as he fights cancer). They had such a blast walking down to the fire pit every day, listening to the birds, and basking in the fresh air. We made so many wonderful memories here, and we do plan to come back. We cannot wait!
