Welcome to River Rock, your Adults Only, (No guests in this cabin under the age of 25), vacation destination on the Ellijay River. All new and updated, where you’ll find all the comforts of home and more. Spacious, beautifully decorated, River Rock is a one of a kind log home. The owners have gone to great lengths to make sure this cabin has everything you and your fur-kids could need to relax and enjoy the beauty of North Georgia. Two bedrooms, two baths, expansive decks, covered porch, outdoor seating and dining, Flat Screen TVs in all rooms, you truly may never want to leave this river paradise.
River Rock is an Adults Only, Dogs Only luxuriously appointed two bedroom, two log home that sleeps up to four (4) Adults and offers the following:
- King size bedroom with luxurious 400 count sheets and bathroom on the entrance level
- King size bedroom with luxurious 400 count sheets and bathroom, in the upstairs open loft
- Cozy living area with gas log fireplace, 40 Inch Flat Screen Cable TV and DVD Player
- Free Wireless Hi-Speed Internet
- Central heat and air, washer and dryer
- Spa quality soap, hair dryer, and towels
- Covered porch with seating overlooking the Ellijay River
- Separate attached deck with large hot tub, propane grill, and seating
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Refrigerator with ice maker, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee beans, coffee grinder, and coffee maker
- Dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
Doggies Always Stay Free! There are no size, weight limits, breed restrictions, or pet deposits! Please NO cats allowed at River Rock.
Because Sliding Rock Cabins® is truly a pet friendly cabin rental company, we provide the following amenities for your pet: Large dog bed, food and water bowls, toys, treats, and beach towels.

- Standard season rate November 11 2024 – November 26 2024, two (2) night minimum stay
- Thanksgiving Holiday season rate November 27 2024 – November 30 2024, four (4) to seven (7) night minimum stay, depending upon cabin
- Standard season rate December 01 2024 – December 17 2024, two (2) night minimum stay
- Christmas/New Year Holiday season rate December 18 2024 – December 31 2024, five (5) night minimum stay, no check-in on Christmas Day

The river running through the backyard was amazing. We played in the river and our dog loved it as well. We enjoyed coffee on the deck listening to the river and birds. We saw multiple deer along the river. Overall the cabin was clean and cozy. The kitchen could use some silverware, the green resin on them are falling apart. Could use some more frying pans. The leather on the couch/chair is peeling off. These are minor things, just mentioning for suggestions. Overall, it was a great stay and very peaceful, beautiful getaway. We enjoyed Carter's Lake, downtown ellijay and blue ridge. The boat dock bar and grill and the rum cake lady were great places to eat. Really enjoyed the cabin and hope to visit again!
Absolutely perfect cabin and location. Everything we needed and wanted for a five-day rest & relaxation visit. First drive to cabin was a bit rough, but got used to it quickly. Wish we had recorded the beautiful sounds of that bubbling stream.
Enjoyed relaxing on the deck by the river!
River Rock cabin is a great place to spend some days sitting by the river relaxing. We came in mid-March, which was very cold, and enjoyed staying inside mostly, except for one warmer afternoon when we could sit on the deck by the water. The cabin needs a little more lighting for reading or putting together puzzles and its flatware needs replacing as some of the forks were coming apart. But other than that - very nice cabin with everything we needed. We'll be back!
We had a perfect and relaxing stay at River Rock. The views and sounds of the river are the perfect backdrop to relax and recharge. We loved the way the cabin was laid out and had everything we needed for a wonderful week. We can't wait to return!
Nightly Rates are for up to four (4) guests. No additional guests are allowed. All cabins require a cleaning fee, along with a Non-Refundable Processing Fee, along with Taxes. All rates and seasons are subject to change. Rates include the holiday and surrounding nights.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due thirty-one (31) days prior to arrival date. A refundable Security Deposit is required, along with a copy of a current picture identification, such as Driver’s License, Military, Firefighter, or Law Enforcement ID. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than thirty-one (31) days to arrival date, minus a $59 cancellation fee, plus tax. No refund offered for cancellations made thirty-one (31) days or less from arrival date.
