River Ritz, is a beautifully decorated rustic style, three bedroom, two bath log cabin that sits a few feet from the Ellijay River and truly has it all. Try your hand at fly-fishing, enjoy a stroll along the river’s edge, or tube back to your cabin, maybe take a meal in the waterside pavilion, in the evening roast s’mores in the riverside fire-pit, or have a soak in the large outdoor hot tub and watch the river go by. All decks are gated so of course your pooch is welcome to nap nearby.

The fully equipped kitchen includes:

The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

This was our first time visiting the mountains. We stayed for 4 nights. We chose Sliding Rocks because they are pet friendly with no pet fees or restrictions. This cabin was wonderful! It was exactly as described. It was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the hot tub and used it multiple times. It was quiet and relaxing. The fur babies enjoyed the fenced in yard. Will definitely be staying again. Already looking for dates to stay in the fall. I have already recommended to friends!
The cabin and location are perfect for a relaxing get away, with the dogs! The cabin had everything needed, and fenced yard which my dogs loved. There were plenty of board games, and a foos ball table that the whole family enjoyed. My son fished in the river but didn't catch anything, so I don't believe this is a good spot if you are wanting to fish. The only, very minor complaint I have is there was food in the dishwasher from prior renters. I'm assuming it is from people not rinsing off plates before putting them in the dishwasher. I texted the management company but didn't receive a response. We ended up hand washing all the dishes we used. Everything else was very clean, though! I would definitely stay here again. My kids (18 years old) and I loved tubing the river rapids, but there isn't much else to do that we found. The area is good for wineries, though.
We loved our stay at River Ritz! We loved it so much that we extended our stay by another 2 nights because nobody wanted to leave! The beds were extremely comfortable on top of all the other fantastic features. We will be back!
It is hard to explain in words the serenity we felt at this cabin. I haven’t relaxed in a long time and the cabin, location, bench swings overlooking the river was heaven! Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well!
As always, Sliding Rock was amazing and River Ritz was perfect for our getaway. Quiet, secluded and relaxing. And we could not ask for nicer and more helpful customer service. I highly recommend Sliding Rock. You won’t go wrong.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due thirty-one (31) days prior to arrival date. A refundable Security Deposit is required, along with a copy of a current picture identification, such as Driver’s License, Military, Firefighter, or Law Enforcement ID. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than thirty-one (31) days to arrival date, minus a $59 cancellation fee, plus tax. No refund offered for cancellations made thirty-one (31) days or less from arrival date.
